HD and 4K choices belong to the edition provided by the viewing service. The title page identifies the film; it does not guarantee a particular video format for every offer. Open the matching production and inspect the supported picture options.
A sharper label is not the whole picture
Resolution, compression and the original source all affect appearance. A stable 1080p stream can be more comfortable than a higher setting that pauses repeatedly. On a phone, reading captions and maintaining a steady connection may matter more than the largest resolution setting.
If the picture looks soft
Give an automatic-quality player a brief opportunity to settle. Check its quality setting and whether another device is using much of the connection. Test a lower quality if playback interrupts, then increase it when the session is stable.
For the television
Use a device and app supported by the viewing service. Check the service's plan requirements where relevant, and keep resolution separate from high dynamic range. Those are different picture properties. A title offered in one format on a mobile device may have different supported options on a television.
